Each week I get a thought provoking email from an American organisation called Thom Rainer that trains and advises church leaders. It also does lots of research about what makes 'successful' churches. Although sometimes it is not that culturally relevant, it, more often than not, is very thought provoking. Here is this weeks offering for you to ponder. I wonder if we scored our church on a one to ten basis ten how would we score? If you think we score poorly what do we do about it? What if you applied some of the statements to your life, how would you score? Eg, are you joyful in worship? Do you see evangelistic fruit? Churches, after all, are just a reflection of the people who attend it.
