Honour God
5 June 2016

This week I read in a magazine the remarkable news that older adults who do strength training for over 15 years ( I.e lifting weights) 'had a 47% chance of not dying from any cause' ..well that's eternal life sorted then! Seriously, though, it is important as Christians to look after and respect our bodies and our minds they are after all, scripture says ' the temple of the Holy Spirit.' God gave us these amazing bodies with which to serve him. Like any part of creation they are not perfect, but let's look after them as much as we can so that we can such serve God as he calls us to do.

1 Corinthians 6: 19 Do you not know that your bodies are templesA)" data-cr="#cen-NIV-28487A"> of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;B)" data-cr="#cen-NIV-28487B"> 20 you were bought at a price.C)" data-cr="#cen-NIV-28488C">Therefore honor God with your bodies.
