It is great to see Balaclava Road almost at completion. Paul Squires has been absolutely amazing, he has been there every day for the last three months, ensuring everything has been done correctly, as well as doing lots of the work himself. He works, not only because he enjoys it, but because he has a sense of call from God to the ongoing vision for Balaclava Road as we reach out to the most vulnerable in our community. It was also a joy to see Karen one of our regular disabled Well members almost jumping out of her chair with excitement when they popped in and I showed her the disabled facilities, she was so happy the sink in the kitchen was low so she could help wash up ! Reading Nehemiah recently, who also oversaw lots of building, I was reminded that the vision God gives us for the things he calls us to do is always fulfilled, if we stay close to him and keep going even when we are we are bored, tired or scared. It is this kind of commitment that gets the job done and has the joy of seeing Gods purposes come to pass.
